How to get from Incheon Airport Station to Seoul Station.

Hello to everyone who is traveling to Korea or visiting for various reasons.

The most recommended way to get from Incheon Airport Station to Seoul Station is to use the Subway.

This is because the subway is used similarly and intuitively all over the world.

1. Leave the arrival hall and look for a sign that says 'Airport Railroad'.

You will use the underground walkway to board the airport railroad.

 

2. First, you must leave the arrivals hall and go down to the basement level(B1).

If you come down to the basement level(B1), you can walk comfortably using the moving walkway. In the case fo the Airport Railroad(regular train), the service interval is about 10 to 15 minutes, so you can travel at your leisure.

 

3. Find 'All-stop train' or Express train sign.

If you follow the underground walkway and the airport railroad signs, you will come across a ticket gate with 'All stop train' written on it.

(If you want to use the express train, just look for the sign that says express train.)

 

4. Let's buy an airport rail ticket.

For reference, look for blue for regular train and orange for direct train.

All-stop train = a train that stops at all subway stations.

express train = a train that goes directly to Seoul Station.(please note that direct trains run at intervals of 40 minutes.)

5. Ticket price and Time required to arrive at SeoulStaion.

 

1) Ticket price

The fare for a regular train is about 4,500won.

The express train costs about 9,500won for adults and 7,500won for children.

 

2) Time required to arrive at SeoulStaion.

Regular train = It takes about 1hour and 10minutes.

Express train = It takes about 40minutes.

 

6. Once you have selected a train and purchased a ticket, enter through the ticket gate and board the train.

 

You can board the regular train at B3, and the express train at B2.
